We go pick you up at the airport in Cusco and drop you off at your hotel (or any other address) in Cusco, any day, any time, regardless of the number of people.

On the day of the tour, the journey between Cusco and the railway station in Ollantaytambo is done by public bus, for the round-trip. At the return, the bus will drop you at one of the main squares of Cusco.

The journey between Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes is necessarily done by train. It is the famous train to Machu Picchu. The tickets are round trip that can be done the same day (1-day trip) or in 2 days (or more). In this case, the usual is to go to Aguas Calientes one day, possibly visit Machu Picchu, sleep at a hotel and the next day (re)visit Machu Picchu and then take the train back. The train to Machu Picchu exists in 2 categories: regular category named Expedition and superior category named Vistadome (see a full comparative).

When you arrive by train in Aguas Calientes, you must go to the entrance of Machu Picchu. The ascent can be done hiking (free, and it takes 1 hour and a half) or by bus. There are bus departures every 30 minutes and the trip takes 20 minutes. Tickets are for a round trip (ascent and descent).

The visit to Machu Picchu requires an entrance ticket valid for a given day and time. In addition to Machu Picchu, it is possible to visit other sites such as Wayna Picchu, Machu Mountain, Huchuy Picchu or Puente Inca. It is also possible to buy a ticket to visit the Machu Picchu Museum, located on the road between Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu.

3Machu Picchu VIP tickets are valid for any day of the year and are independent of the availability (more information). They include the entrance to Machu Picchu and a visit for 90 minutes with the Circuit 3 with a Spanish/English spoken private guide.
For your visit to Machu Picchu or for the whole tour, we propose to be accompanied by a licensed professional guide. A Machu Picchu guide will be present during the Machu Picchu tour. An accompanying guide will be present throughout the tour including the visit to Machu Picchu. All of our guides are bilingual and speak Spanish and English, but you can book a trilingual guide who speaks Spanish, English and another language of your choice: French, Italian, Portuguese or German.
